Why Empathy In Justice System Important

Empathy in the justice system important, because it allowed both victims and the offender a chance to hear each other out, rather than just impose punishment. In reality, when People say that they want revenge and punishment, they don’t really mean it. It’s not necessarily or not necessarily helps them overcome the conflict or the trauma, unless they work together with someone who can tap into their subconscious in order to heal the trauma on both ends of the offender who caused the victimization and the victim who suffered from the outcome. While doing that, I still believe the offender need to be punished for the consequences of their action and offered the right tools to heal so it doesn’t happen again or repeat itself.
