Advice From A Hypnotist On Making Millions

As we grow up, we hear all kinds of things about money. We hear that money’s the root of all evil. We hear, also, that money is scarce – that it “doesn’t grow on trees.” All around us, people fight and argue about money, criticizing each other about the way they handle it.

Unless we’re very lucky, nobody teaches us how to feel in control of money. We’re told that millionaires are fancy people, and that such a high status is too specialized for most of us.

And that’s a shame, because only by feeling like we can truly own money can we actually become millionaires.

My father came from a very wealthy family. He married a woman that he loved, but she wasn’t wealthy. So that was a source of conflict between them.

They had eight children. We grew up without a sense of saving. Money, for my father, was all about pleasure. He wanted to spend it right now, rather than think about tomorrow. Moreover, he didn’t believe that one had to be highly educated to be successful. As far as he was concerned, even a foolish person could make lots of money.

Point being: I, like most everyone else, grew up with fixed ideas about money.

The hypnotic millionaire mindset involves training ourselves to empty the garbage from our minds. Sure, you can visualize money coming in. You can imagine it being in your bank account. That’s all okay. But be careful about following “The Secret,” which is basically a way of just sitting there and waiting for things to happen.

I once went to a 42 Day-Miracle “success” program. The instructor taught us how to work with our angels and get them to deliver money to us. In the end, it was a waste of time. Afterward, I got depressed. Basically, the course was a scam, and if you didn’t do well, then it was your own fault.

What use is that? Paying somebody else for help, only to be told that if you failed, it was your own fault?

No plant can grow without a seed. To bring in millions of dollars, one must be operating with a strong foundation.

The process for changing isn’t rocket science. We must work on ourselves. Work to get rid of the damage from our early perceptions of money. Change our plans, and get off courses that aren’t paying off. Also, we shouldn’t get obsessed with goals, as having the pressure of goals in front of us can actually cause us to procrastinate. Instead, we should get obsessed with what comes after the goals: the achievements. For each achievement is another notch in our growth, another indicator that we are building, and that we can indeed build more.

But you can’t build a muscle without a clenched fist. Lifting your arm up with a loose fist is as useful as waiting for that plant to grow from unseeded soil. Firmness and concentration are needed. Then, once we achieve those things, we shouldn’t just lift our arms three times; we should lift them three hundred times! (Think about all the lottery winners who cannot hold onto their money. Even they, who only needed luck to get rich, could benefit from a sense of firmness and concentration.)

Meanwhile, don’t believe the myths about success being all about connections, as that’s just an excuse for failure waiting to happen. And giving up is the fastest way to end up depressed, and sinking fast into a downward spiral.

Be proactive. Take steps. Rack up achievements; first small ones, then big ones. Do your research, also. Be open. Know what you’re doing in your chosen field. The truth is, rich people won’t tell you how to become rich. They’re too busy being successful. They’re done going through that growth process, so it’s up to us to find our own way.

And through it all, know that you’ll make mistakes.

I recently did a live pay-per-view webcast, and charged people $20 apiece to watch it. My marketing drew in 1,000 viewers. That meant $20,000!

So what did I do? I put the money toward my credit card debt. It was here one day and gone the next. My attorney was furious. He barked at me about all the ways in which I could have lowered that debt before paying so much money into it.

So I’d found a formula for earning money, but I lacked the next step. But that’s okay; I’ll plan another webcast, and next time I’ll save more of what I make, and apply it in ways that will help it to stay in my pocket.

And the more money we have inside our pockets, the sooner we’ll be millionaires!
