Discover This 90/10 Principle
It will change your life

(or at least the way you react to situations).

WHAT IS THIS PRINCIPLE?

10% of life is made up of what happens to you…

90% of life is decided by how you react.

WHAT THAT THIS MEANS?

We really have NO control over the 10% of what happens to us.

The 90% is different.

YOU determine the 90%

HOW?

By The Way You React.

You cannot predict to control unplanned situation, such as an accident, a death, being late to school, in traffic, and so on…

However, you can control your reaction.

What you can do, is simple.

Do not let circumstances, or people to fool you.

YOU can control how you react.

~0o0~

Let’s take this example: ( True story!)

You lived with your Father, in a rental apartment, with another roommate.

As far as you know, things were fine, you finally situated in the nearest school, your father got him self a new job, and things looks fine.

Now, Out of no where, your Fathers roommate, asks you to move ASAP, since her Ex Boyfriend decided to come back, after dumping her, and marrying someone else.

What do you do now?

Your Father does not have a stable job to find an apartment that can give him, the same deal he had.

You just made new friends and your school is half a block away.

Life looks unfair, isn’t it?

You feel like, your entire world is crashing down, and all that, over an immature decision of someone else, to which…

YOU HAVE NO CONTROL over what has just happened. ARE YOU WITH ME SO FAR?

Now, The way you react, will be determined by HOW YOU REACT.

~0o0~

You curse.

You harshly scold your father for not being wise with his choices.

He breaks down with guilt and shame.

After scolding him, you turn to your mother and criticize her for getting a divorce, and putting you in the middle of this mess.

A short verbal battle follows.

Now, you have a huge headache.

You storm upside and hold your head with disbelief.

Back home, you find your father has been too busy beating himself up and getting ready to go to work.

His car crashes down.

And you must leave immediately to school, while he needs to go to work.

You rush to the bus to get to school.

Because you both are late,

The bus drives 40 miles per hour in a 30 mph speed limit zone.

After a 15-minute delay, you finally arrive at school.

You run into the class without saying good morning.

Your teacher says, you are 20 minutes late,

You realize your forgot your backpack.

Your day has started terrible.

As it continues, it seems to get worse and worse.

You look forward to coming home.

When you arrive home, you find a small wedge

in your relationship with your father and his roommate.

Why?

Because of how you reacted earlier in the morning.

~0o0~

Why did you have a bad day?

~0o0~

A) Did the roommate cause it?

B) Did your father cause it?

C) Did the policeman cause it?

D) Did you cause it?

~0o0~

The answer is: D

~0o0~

You had NO CONTROL over what happened with the roomate.

~0o0~

How you reacted in those 5 seconds is what caused your bad day!

~0o0~

Here is what could have and should have happened.

<<<

Roommate asked your father to move ASAP, It put you in confusion.

Your father is about to cry, but he was thought, man don’t cry, so it’s killing him inside.

You gently say:

“It’s okay, dad, you just need to be wiser and careful next time, when you chose your roommate.”

Taking a deep breath, hugging each other, saying, its life, and something good will come out of it. I don’t know How, I Just know it will.

And start looking for a better and nicer place to live.

You grab your backpack, look through the window and see your father is waiting for you in his car.

He turns and smiles. You arrive 5 minutes early and cheerfully greet the teacher.

~0o0~

Notice the difference?

~0o0~

Two different scenarios.

Both started the same.

Both stared the same.

Both ended different.

WHY?

Because of how you reacted.

In Real world, you really have no control over 10% of what happens in your life.

The other 90% was determined by your reaction.

~0o0~

Absolutely everything we do, give, say or even think,

It’s like a Boomerang.

It will come back to us.

If we want to receive, we need to learn to give first…

Maybe we will end with our hands half empty, but our hearts will be filled with love.

And those who love life,

have that feeling marked in their hearts…

Hypnosis & red wine prevents cholesterol buildup from meat

Finally there is an excuse to pick a good red wine with your Sunday roast – it can diminish the unhealthy effects of eating red meat.

However if you can’t pick a good red wine with your Sunday roast, you can have your hypnotherapist give you that same suggestion so your mind can create the same results.
Scientists have discovered that a glass of red wine can prevent the buildup of cholesterol after a meal of dark or red meat.
They found that harmful compounds from the meat would build up in the blood stream of volunteers as they digested a meal, helping to form “bad” cholesterol that can damage blood vessels and increase the risk of heart disease.
The researchers showed, however, that antioxidants in the wine known as polyphenols stopped these compounds from being absorbed in the gut and so they did not get into the blood stream where they can cause harm.
Professor Ron Kohen, from the institute of drug research at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, said this may help to explain why red wine has frequently been found to reduce the risk of heart disease.
He said: “Meat is rich in polyunsaturated fat and cholesterol. Our results could provide an explanation for the association between frequent meat consumption and increased risk in developing cardiovascular diseases. Including polyphenol rich products as an integral part of the meal significantly diminish these harmful effects.”
Over four days, the researchers fed a group of 14 healthy volunteers a series of meals of dark turkey cutlets and asked them to avoid other meats and fish.
A smaller group of the same individuals then repeated the four-day diet, accompanying each cutlet with the equivalent of a glass of red wine.
The research showed that when the volunteers ate the meat alone, they had increased levels of a compound known as malondialdehyde in their blood stream after eating.
They also showed greater levels of cholesterol that had been modified by malondialdehyde in their blood.
After four days of eating the meat, the levels of modified cholesterol had increased by 97 per cent. It is thought that such modified cholesterol is responsible for hardening arteries and creating plaques that lead to heart disease.
When they had the cutlets with red wine, however, the levels of modified cholesterol did not change and even fell in some cases.
In the study, which is published in the Journal of Functional Foods, the meat cutlets for the second group were marinated in red wine, but Professor Kohen said a similar effect would be seen if they had drunk the red wine with the meal.
A separate study from New Zealand has also revealed that eating vegetables like potatoes with red meat can help reduce the harmful by-products produced during digestion.

I always have my clients spend a week watching themselves and keeping a diary of what they do, what they eat, and when. I would recommend that you do the same. In particular I ask then to note every time that they open the refrigerator or kitchen door, or stop their car to buy a snack. I also have them keep their grocery store receipts and note what they buy.

So how can hypnosis do the same? As surprised as you may be, hypnosis can help with eating and emotional issues. Hypnosis can create new habits and help you make the changes that will break the old patterns of behavior. Like suggesting that your mind creates the result you need even the same result what the wine does, as well as working with the underlying emotional problems. With all that said, hypnosis will also help you to take the positive action outlined in the weight loss program. It can change your attitudes about healthy food and exercise in your unconscious mind so that these changes can occur relatively easily and permanently without the use of unwanted chemicals.

The Power of Rescuing Others:By Dr. Marsha Linehan, a therapist and researcher at the University of Washington who suffered from borderline personality disorder and Schizophrenia.

As we all know, the enduring stigma of mental illness teaches people with such a diagnosis to think of themselves as victims, snuffing out the one thing that can motivate them to find treatment: and hope.

“There’s a tremendous need to implode the myths of mental illness, to put a face on it, to show people that a diagnosis does not have to lead to a painful and oblique life.” Elyn R. Saks, a professor at the University of Southern California School of Law who chronicles had her own struggles with schizophrenia in “The Center Cannot Hold: Her Journey Through Madness.” “They who struggle with these disorders can lead full, happy, productive lives, if we have the right resources.”

These include medication (usually), therapy (often), a measure of good luck (always) — and, most of all, the inner strength to manage one’s demons, if not banish them. That strength can come from any number of places, these former patients say: love, forgiveness, faith in God, a lifelong friendship can help with the struggle.

But Dr. Linehan’s case shows there is no recipe. She was driven by a mission to rescue people who are chronically suicidal, often as a result of borderline personality disorder, an enigmatic condition characterized in part by self-destructive urges.

As she said; “I honestly didn’t realize at the time that I was dealing with myself”, “But I suppose it’s true that I developed a therapy that provides the things I needed for so many years and never got.”

‘I Was in Hell’

She learned the central tragedy of severe mental illness the hard way, banging her head against the wall of a locked room.

Marsha Linehan arrived at the Institute of Living on March 9, 1961, at age 17, and quickly became the sole occupant of the seclusion room on the unit known as Thompson Two, for the most severely ill patients. The staff saw no alternative: The girl attacked herself habitually, burning her wrists with cigarettes, slashing her arms, her legs, her midsection, using any sharp object she could get her hands on.

The seclusion room, a small cell with a bed, a chair and a tiny, barred window, had no such weapon. Yet her urge to die only deepened. So she did the only thing that made any sense to her at the time: banged her head against the wall and, later, the floor. Hard.

“My whole experience of these episodes was that someone else was doing it; it was like ‘I know this is coming, I’m out of control, somebody help me; where are you, God?’ ” she said. “I felt totally empty, like the Tin Man; I had no way to communicate what was going on, no way to understand it.”

Her childhood, in Tulsa, Okla., provided few clues. An excellent student from early on, a natural on the piano, she was the third of six children of an oilman and his wife, an outgoing woman who juggled child care with the Junior League and Tulsa social events.

Please watch this video, and if you need help, contact your specialist or contact me Doreen Cohanim for free consultation, and possible referrals and advice, some areas hypnosis and cognitive therapy can help, however you need to have a specialist that work together with any other holistic or alternative therapist. Without referral from your physician I highly recommend you never hire a hypnotherapist or others unless you have a referral and the therapist is Authorized to communicate with your physician and or psychiatrist.

I’m sure you have already heard about therapy with dogs, but how about having a dog as your therapist?

Consulting the family pet before a big job interview or important life decision is something many people will attest to. But those who don’t have a commiserating kitty or compassionate canine of their own can now indulge in one-on-on therapy sessions with a doggy psychiatrist. The wacky solution comes off the back of a survey that claims a whopping 85 percent of all cat and dog owners talk to their animals about relationships, work, family and finance.

The study, conducted by More Than, has prompted the insurance company to hold the first ever “Dogtor’s Surgery,” offering members of the public therapy sessions with a canine shrink.

Janet Connor, Managing Director for More Than, said, “While pets might not be able to speak or have the foggiest idea what’s being said to them, they are looked upon as faithful companions whose loyalty and affection is unwavering.”

While health is not totally within our control, certain behavior choices will affect us positively and reduce future health risks, here you can understand why it is important to make healthy choices, the types of factors that influence our healthy and unhealthy habits, and how to make responsible decisions by taking the right active steps to improve our healthy behaviors.

I want you to take a moment and think of the term ‘health’, and see what comes to your mind? Is it lack of illness? Being physically fit? Having a positive attitude? Having balance in your life?
Without doubts, all are correct. If so, why are there so many variations in our perception of health? Is it possible that these differences are due to an increasingly enlightened way of viewing health that has taken shape over time?
Did you know that in the year1900, average life expectancy was 47 years? If you survived an influenza pandemic, or an outbreak of cholera, you were considered lucky. However, today, life expectancy is 77 years, and the concept of health means much more than just not being ill.

The definition of health has progressively evolved into a concept known to as wellness. Wellness refers to the ever-changing process of achieving one’s potential in six interrelated dimensions of health: physical, social, intellectual, emotional, environmental, and spiritual.

Let’s explore each dimension.
When you think of the words physical health? Usually, the first thing you can envision is a physically fit person – someone with a toned, buff physique. And as most of us know, physical health it’s not always defined by an excellent physique. To be physically healthy means you have the ability to perform all of life’s daily activities, such as getting out of bed, preparing dinner, socializing, and all of the other small tasks you may complete each day. These are called activities of daily living. Each one’s ability to perform these functions determines their physical health.

The second dimension of wellness is known to us as social health. This is one of the abilities we can have that will satisfy our interpersonal relationships, adapt to social situations, and behave appropriately in daily activities.
Intellectual health refers to the ability to think clearly, solve problems, and effectively meet life’s challenges. Now, do you have hobbies that you enjoy? Keep in mind that Hobbies are part of your intellectual health – a part that is often overlooked. Are you overlooking your hobbies?
Emotional health refers to the ability to express emotions when they are appropriate, and controlling them when they are not.

Finally, spiritual health is a dimension that may involve a belief in a supreme being, or a guiding sense of value in life. Wellness integrates all of these dimensions in an effort to find balance among mind, body, and spirit. Take a few moments to think about your strengths in each dimension of wellness.

Now that we know what it means to be healthy, what efforts can you make to prevent illness and disease? The Body Mind Connection hypnotherapy initiative places an emphasis on healthy living and disease prevention. Examples of disease prevention include deciding not to smoke cigarettes, live stress free or practicing safer sex. The Body Mind Connection initiative provides educational and mental support to help individuals reduce preventable lifestyle behaviors that could lead to chronic disease. For example, the hypnosis community programs can encourage people to lose weight in order to lower their risk for diabetes and heart disease.

Perhaps you are in perfect health right now. You may be wondering why changing bad habits into healthy habits matters. After all, you are young and eating McDonalds isn’t affecting your waistline, so why worry? The lifestyle choices we make now will affect your health years from now. Consider the example of eating too much fast food: losing weight can be a struggle, and a lot more difficult than making some changes to your diet today. Overweight can also lead to more serious illnesses such as high blood pressure or diabetes. What are some other healthy behaviors you can practice on an individual level?

Now that you know why it is important to make wise health decisions, are you ready to prepare for a behavior change? All of these factors fall into one of these three categories:

Predisposing factors include life experiences, knowledge, cultural heritage, and beliefs. For example, if your parents smoked when you were a child, this is a predisposing factor that you too are likely to become a smoker.
Enabling factors include abilities; physical, emotional, and mental capabilities; commitment to health; or resources that make health decisions easy or difficult. How would positive enablers affect behavior change? That’s right – they encourage you to change. And negative enablers? They work against your intentions to change. For example, if you want to join a gym but it turns out the closest one is on the other side of town, this would be a negative enabler. On the other hand, if you find an economical fitness center on your way home from work, this is a positive enabler.

The final category is reinforcing factors. These include the presence or absence of support or encouragement of significant people in your life. For example, if you are trying to limit your alcohol intake, but your friends binge drinks every weekend, you’ll likely be tempted to abandon your efforts and join them.

Do your friends and family influence your health choices? The answer is of course. Healthy behaviors usually start in healthy homes, and if friends offer encouragement, you are more likely to stay motivated to change your behaviors. However, if you didn’t start having a healthy habit from home and your friends aren’t helping, than I have good news for you, since hypnotherapist like myself and others are trained and willing to help.

Now that you’ve analyzed the factors that influence your behaviors, the next step is to choose a strategy to make the change. Most behaviors are impossible to change immediately. Therefore you need help to reach your goal, and with a professional hypnotherapist it is often easy, because they will help you with the necessary small steps that you can take with success. This process is referred as rehearsing and shaping while been in trance.

For example, you have not exercised in a while and decide that you want to begin jogging three miles every other day. You realize that presently you would need oxygen if you tried to run even a few blocks. So, you decide to build up to your desired fitness level and begin by rehearsing and shaping the new you within your subconscious mind.

Let’s pretend that you are now in trance with the help of your professional trained hypnotherapist, and you are experiencing a total relaxation, and your hypnotherapists now guides you into taking the necessary small step to success; such as walking a half a mile to a mile several days a week, once you’ve done it in your mind, it becomes part of your reality, since the subconscious mind doesn’t know the difference between reality and imagination, once you experience it in your mind it becomes your reality. Remember, behaviors don’t develop overnight, so they won’t change overnight.

Hypnosis followed with visualization can transform unhealthy behaviors into healthy ones. If you allow your hypnotherapist to guide you properly by teaching you how to use visualization to help you plan of action ahead of time, you’ll be better prepared when you put yourself to the test. For example, suppose you’d like to lose weight. Your hypnotherapist will guide you into using your Imagination by setting and practicing exactly what you will do in your mind and aloud. Verbal and mental rehearsal will greatly improve the likelihood for success.

One of the most effective strategies for changing behavior is modeling. This is simply learning behaviors by seeing yourself watching the new you performing it. Controlling the situation often positively influences your behaviors. Situational inducement refers to influencing a behavior by using social settings to control the behavior. For example, you may be more apt to losing weight if you socialize with people who walk or involved in more physical activity.

Positive reinforcement seeks to increase the likelihood that a behavior will occur by presenting a reward for the behavior. Positive reinforces can be something to gift yourself with, a fun activity, a tangible reward, or approval from those around you. If you could choose one activity reinforce with which to reward yourself after one week of success in your new behavior, what would it be?

Changing self-talk, the way you think and talk to yourself, play’s a huge role in modifying health-related behaviors. Self-talk must always be positive and believable.

Okay – you’ve decided how you are going to make your healthy behavior change. Next you’ve got to contact a trained professional in your area or not in your area, in today’s internet marketing; you can easily set an online session to set some goals. How can you set a realistic health goal? First, decide your ultimate goal. If there is more than one behavior you’d like to change, pick the behavior you’d like to change the most to work on. Than pick up the phone and call me or any other hypnotherapist you may want to work with and book your first session, you may be surprise how fast it can change your life style.

A study published in the journal Diabetes Care reports that diabetics may want to avoid caffeine.

According to researchers at Duke University Medical Center, caffeine caused the blood sugar glucose levels of type 2 diabetics to rise throughout the day.

While previous studies show that people who drank coffee had a reduced risk of type 2 diabetes, the study by Duke researchers was conducted using a tiny glucose monitor embedded under the abdominal skin to continuously monitor glucose levels.

On the days participants consumed an amount of caffeine equivalent to four cups of coffee, their average sugar level rose 8% compared to days they were given a placebo.

Caffeine triggers the release of hormone adrenaline, which can elevate blood sugar levels, says researchers.

Additionally, caffeine may also interfere as glucose from blood is transferred into muscles and other cells to be burned as fuel.

I personally worked with many diabetics, and helped their quality of life, by introducing client to Hypnosis and Hypno-Band the virtual gastric surgery without the actual surgery, and it’s been successfully applied to clients that have diabetes. Usually it takes from 4 to 10 sessions to control or get rid of diabetes. The sessions are once a week for approximately 50 minutes. This is for both adults and children who need help. Along with medical treatment, hypnosis can help to control or even alleviate all symptoms of diabetes. Hypnosis promotes self healing and controls diabetes through mind body interaction.

Many, but not all diabetics are overweight or have issues with depression or anxiety which heightens their symptoms. Getting control of negative thoughts through hypnosis can help heal the body or even help the body to produce more insulin.

Hypnosis also heals by changing eating habits and getting the client into changing certain habits that are destructive or unwanted.

The pancreas is part of the digestive system and lies the abdomen, behind the stomach. Both insulin and glucagon are produced by the pancreas to control sugar levels in your body.

The problem in people with diabetes is that either they don’t produce enough insulin, or the insulin they do produce doesn’t work properly, or their cells don’t respond properly to insulin. The net result is that glucose isn’t cleared from their bloodstream. Their blood glucose levels are then too high and the body tries to clear them away by various compensatory methods, such as increased urination.

Insulin helps to reduce the glucose levels produced by the breakdown of carbohydrates that have been eaten.

Hypnosis can have a great effect on changing the way your body is producing insulin or overall health and well-being. Diabetics that are hypnotized can be told they are producing more insulin and there body can produce more, even when the pancreas has stopped working.

Although that it is said that there is no real cure for diabetes, I know for fact that the mind is so powerful that we can change almost anything in the body that we want to. The subconscious mind does not know the difference between fact and fiction, “real or fake’. This is how through hypnosis you can change the mind body connection and actually get the body to think it is working perfectly, or producing enough insulin and glucagon. Your body can heal anything through the mind it is based on the power of your belief.

If you have any questions or ready to take control of your life, happiness and well-being, remember Hypnosis is the solution followed with doctor referrals and doctor supervision.

There are nearly 28 million people in the world with dementia and the experience of this debilitating condition is unique for each individual, although sadly as well as for their family, hypnosis is available to not only support the family members also to assist the client. However it was found found that hypnosis can slow the symptoms of dementia. It’s been a fact that dementia is a neurological condition which can result in people losing their memories- they can forget where they live, they forget people they love, and tend to become more withdrawn and less social as the disease progresses.

It was found in a study that dementia patients were treated with hypnosis, and showed improvements in memory, concentration, and levels of social interaction compared to a group who did not undergo hypnosis. In addition, for the hypnosis dementia group support, relaxation, interest, and motivation also improved, as did participation in the activities of daily living, such as taking a shower, fixing a meal, and etc.

Although there is no promise by me that hypnosis can cure dementia/ Alzheimer, but there are some lifestyle changes you can make to reduce your risk for AD.

Hoardings can affect everyone, and Hypnosis is the real affective solution to help you stop compulsive hoarding, let me help you understand your problem and find the calm and permanent solution before its’ it’s too hard and too complicated to help you.

Two behaviors characterize hoarding: acquiring too many possessions and difficulty discarding or getting rid of them when they are no longer useful or needed.

When these behaviors lead to enough clutter and disorganization to disrupt and threaten a person’s health or safety, and they may lead to significant distress, then hoarding becomes a “disorder.” Simply collecting or owning lots of things does not qualify as hoarding.

A major feature of this behavior is the large amount of disorganized clutter that creates chaos in the home. Such as:

Rooms can no longer be used as they were intended

Exits are blocked

Hoarders are collectors where they typically keep their possessions well-organized, and each item differs from other items to form an interesting and often valuable collection.

What kinds of things do people who hoard typically save?

Most people who hoard save almost everything. Often this includes things that have been purchased but never removed from their original wrapper.

The most frequently saved items are:

clothes

newspapers

Other commonly hoarded items include:

containers

junk mail

books

craft items

What contributes to the development of hoarding?

People who hoard often have deficits in the way they process information. For example, they are often easily distracted and show symptoms of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). These symptoms make it difficult for them to concentrate on a task without being distracted by other things.

Most of us live our lives in categories. But using categories is hard for people who hoard. Their lives seem to be organized by sight and space.

The electricity bill might go on the 5-foot high pile of papers in the living room or buried under the clothing where is all piled up in and everywhere else except in the closet, and it’s to keep it away from a sight as a reminder to pay the bill. The hoarder tries to keep life organized by remembering where that bill is located, but piling things may misplace the bill. And when they need to find it, they search their memory for the location it was last seen. Instead of relying on a system of categories where one only has to remember where the entire group of objects is located, each object seems to have its own category. This makes the process of finding things very difficult once a critical mass of things has been collected.
